Students use this resource consisting of seven slides with diagrams, written explanation and voice-over to understand how to prepare a neutral salt sample using an acid and an alkali. There is a two-question quiz and a summary slide.
This resource addresses Science Understanding in the area of chemical science for year 9 science students. It is best used combined with the 'Making a Salt Using an Insoluble Base' resource. The titration method and determining end point are outlined for one example but the reaction itself is not really explained and there are no equations.
